a consignor recently described the scene at the malls - cheaper than consignment shops! what? then she told me what she is doing, buying low and reselling in consignment shops.

The department stores needed to clear their racks to make space for spring merchandise, so they sold great brands for very little. Consignment shops are still selling the current season and all the mall stores are filled with spring merchandise. You cannot find a coat or sweater in the mall now. Consignment shops have great brands and brand new (with tags a lot of the time) quality!
